Excited to share that my article, "Art in the New Political Age: Part I," will be part of the December 2017 issue of Artists on Art Magazine! In the first of this two-part series, I discuss how political and social issues have become more important in my own work. The centerpiece of the article, however, are my interviews with two figurative artists I deeply admire, about how the current political climate affects their creative process: fabric artist Alice Beasley and fellow cut-paper artist Fidencio Fifield-Perez.
