ABOUT THE ARTIST

Everyone knows that you are what you wear. Diana's closet looks like a box of crayons exploded. Her artwork has a similar charm of jewel colors, worn easily on the fantastical subjects. It is through such a kaleidoscope that she interprets the world and the wonders she imagines for it. (And who is to say that tiny old grandmothers with dandelion puffs for hair and moth wing kimonos don't dance about with their Luna-moth friends at each sunset? Or that little girls can't reach the moon on a horse made of stars?) Peruse these images as you would on a day spent at a carnival; Diana presents a dazzling array of oddities and curious beauties for the enjoyment and delight of big and small alike.

Diana studied at the Rhode Island School of Design, specializing in Illustration, and earned a BFA in 2003. She freelances currently, exploring her love of portraiture, children's book illustration, and fashion.
